How titrate works, what we do with your data, billing, cancellation, and how to get the most from your analysis.
titrate combines your intake (age, biological sex, diet, goals, medications, conditions), your current supplement stack, and optional DNA or lab data with a curated interaction rule set, a 718-marker SNP knowledge base, and Google Gemini AI. Personalization considers your stack, conditions, and medications first; DNA findings (when provided) refine timing and form choices on top of that. Recommendations are tiered (essential / recommended / optional) by clinical confidence.
No. titrate is an educational decision-support tool. It surfaces research-grounded recommendations so you can have a more informed conversation with your doctor or pharmacist. Never start, stop, or change a supplement or medication without consulting a qualified healthcare provider.
No. The Free analysis works from your supplement stack alone and produces a Titration Score, a timed schedule, interaction warnings, and gap recommendations. DNA, when added (Pro tier), refines timing and form choices for things like methylation, caffeine metabolism, and vitamin D response, but it is optional.
Your intake answers (biometrics, goals, conditions, medications), your supplement stack, your AI Coach conversations, and any extracted DNA markers you upload. For Free use, that data lives only in your browser. If you sign in and enable cloud sync (Pro/Clinical), an RLS-scoped copy is stored in our Supabase database so the same profile loads on your other devices. We never sell or share your data. See the Privacy page for the full data inventory.
Sex-specific physiology — including different baseline needs for B-vitamins, iron, and minerals — is factored into every analysis. Pregnancy and lactation contraindications also rely on sex when you provide that information. We do not interpret hormone-disease biomarkers; for thyroid, testosterone, or other endocrine conditions, work with a qualified clinician.
Yes. During intake you can opt in to DNA upload and lab integration under Advanced Intelligence. Raw DNA files are parsed in your browser and discarded; only the targeted SNP rows we interpret are sent to our AI for analysis and stored in our RLS-scoped genomic_data table so findings re-render across devices.
Caffeine intake, alcohol, smoking, and chronic stress affect nutrient absorption, metabolism, and depletion rates. Knowing them lets titrate adjust timing — for example, shifting magnesium later if morning caffeine competes for absorption.
Every 60–90 days, or whenever something meaningful changes — a new medication, a diet shift, a change in training volume, or fresh lab results. titrate's analysis is designed for iterative refinement, not one-and-done.
Recommendations are generated by Google Gemini AI, whose training corpus includes biomedical literature (PubMed/MEDLINE), pharmacological databases (DrugBank), and genomic references (ClinVar, SNPedia). On top of that we maintain a curated set of supplement interaction rules and a 718-marker SNP knowledge base built from published research. These are not live database queries — they are expert-curated rules and AI knowledge applied to your specific inputs.
No. Labels are processed entirely by AI vision. No human reviews your images. Photos are used only for ingredient extraction and are not retained on our servers after the response.
titrate flags contraindicated ingredients for pregnancy and lactation when you provide that information. Supplement use during pregnancy should be supervised by your OB-GYN or midwife — our tool is not a substitute for prenatal care.
ChatGPT does not know your stack, medications, conditions, or DNA, and it has no curated safety-rule layer. Examine.com is a research database, not a personalization tool. titrate combines your full profile with a deterministic safety filter (drug-supplement interactions, condition contraindications, dose thresholds), pharmacokinetic timing logic, and an interpreted SNP knowledge base — then asks an AI to assemble the protocol.
Once paid plans are live, you can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access continues until then.
New paid subscriptions include a 7-day money-back window: if you contact billing@titrate.app within 7 days of your initial purchase, we will issue a full refund of that first charge. After the 7-day window, refunds for the current billing period are at our discretion.
Yes. From your account settings you can wipe your profile, analysis history, AI Coach conversations, and any uploaded DNA markers from our servers. Local-storage data is cleared from your browser when you sign out or clear site data.
